If you are often pressed for time when making dinner, try doing a little preparation work before hand, perhaps on the night before you plan to cook the dinner. A wooden cutting board requires a certain amount of care. Wooden cutting boards can warp and split if they are exposed to heat and moisture or if they are stored in an excessively dry area. Do not immerse the cutting board in water, but instead, wipe it off with a sponge using warm water and soap. You should apply oil to a board that is damaged, or to an undamaged board which you want to keep in pristine condition. Before you use the board, make sure it is dry.
